While this isn’t a traditional Cajun dish, using our Cajun Seasoning and the Cajun Holy Trinity definitely gives it that traditional Cajun flavor!
Ingredients
Marinade
- 1 lb Strip Steak
- 1-1/2 Cup Beef Stock
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Salt
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- 2-4 Tbsp Hellfire Farm™ Cajun Seasoning (to taste)
Cooking
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped Celery
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped Onion
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped Bell Pepper
- 2 large Garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 stick Butter
Directions
Cut the Strip Steak into 1/2″-3/4″ cubes and mix the marinade ingredients. Marinade the meat for 1-4 hours.

Chop the onion, bell pepper, and celery, and mince the garlic finely.
Drain the meat.
Melt 1/2 stick of butter over medium heat.
Add the Trinity (not the garlic yet) and saute for 3-4 minutes, until starting to soften. Add the garlic and saute another minute, then add the meat and turn the heat up to medium-high. Cook the meat, stirring regularly, until browned and fully cooked. Add salt to taste

We served this with a side of sauteed summer squash with Trinity seasoned with salt and pepper.
